Recently, Google launched an advertising campaign “to empower users” to “make more informed decisions about their internet use.” would like to expand on that effort to help consumers understand just how much control Google has over what they see online.

You see, Google controls 79% of all searches in the U.S., and it uses its dominant position to advance its own corporate interests instead of providing the most relevant search results for consumers.

But don’t take our word for it. Just look at what Google executives have said. All the more reason consumers and antitrust enforcers should consider all the things Google doesn’t want you to know.
